Rockfish Adventure June 27, 2026
Forty-five women. Seven boats. The open Pacific. And a whale!.
The June 27th Rockfish Adventure out of Charleston is officially in the books and what an adventure! We ground it out on the ocean, the rain held off until nearly noon (I'm counting that as answered prayers), and somewhere between the reeling and the laughing and the whale sighting, 45 strangers turned into a crew.
No ling cod were landed this time around, so the Big Fish Energy hat went to Kerry Ivey by random draw — and she absolutely earned it. First fish on every boat scored lottery tickets, because of course they did.
And together, we donated $200 to Charleston Fishing Families. Not bad for a half day on the water.
This is what Salty Sisters is about. Not perfect fishing days just real ones.
